Novopelle Skin Tightening

What is Laser Skin Tightening?*

Skin tightening is a non-surgical procedure that tightens the skin and reverses the signs of aging by contracting collagen proteins. Tightening uses a beam of light to vaporize the upper layers of damaged skin with accurate precision. As new cells form during the healing process, a smoother, tighter, younger skin surface appears.

The procedure is designed to tone, lift, and tighten skin on the face, fine lip lines, crow's feet, neck, and other places and can be used to treat lax, loose, or sagging skin throughout the body. Laser Skin Tightening may help you achieve a more youthful, fresh complexion with long-lasting, tighter skin without surgery or recovery time. *Individual results may vary

How does Laser Skin Tightening work?*

*Individual results may vary

The non-invasive laser uses its laser waver of therapeutic heat that treats the collagen and elastin fibers within the skin. This heating effect provokes a contraction of the aged and disorganized collagen fibers. By heating tissue to lift and tighten the underlying foundation, this strengthens the skin and stimulates the fibroblasts to begin the growth of new collagen. The frequencies will heat up the water content within the skin, causing a uniformed heating effect. This process, also known as collagen remodeling, results in a firmer and smoother skin with natural-looking results!

A series of microdermabrasions or chemical peels prior to the laser treatment will result in better stimulation of the collagen and elastin fibers. New collagen growth will continue for four to six months post treatment.

Results are often visible immediately but improve over time, offering a great option for those with minor to moderate skin laxity, as opposed to more invasive procedures.
